We have a selection of lightly played guitars from our previous adventures or we will build you a high quality, American made guitar, for about what it would cost you to build it yourself and pay for a setup. No kidding.

If it’s an electric guitar there’s lots of tone factors, but kids, it’s the pickups, then the pickups, then the nut and saddle material and solidity of the bridge. Only on a hollow or semi does tone woods factor in at a high level. And we know pickups! Including some really inexpensive options that compete with the big boys. Then there’s Tone Specifics, you get the best but it’s pricey.

The only thing more important is your setup. When all that comes together you have an axe that lets you leap off the edge and fly… landing is on you😀

There are a million ways we can build you a guitar and our guarantee is it will sound and feel like your favorite axe. You might want stainless frets because you won’t set it down!

We are an authorized MJT dealer and can take full custom orders at their prices, and can do your electronics and setup, or send it to you to DIY. We’ve got Tone Specific pickups on hand and can order anything you need, we’re obligated to charge their retail pricing if I sell you a set but you’ll get a 10-20% discount if we’re building you a guitar.

Gobojo makes the finest replicas of original D’Armond Dynasonic P90 pickups available, as well as Goldfoil Jazzmaster and other options. We also offer our own hand wounds at very affordable prices.

Currently we operate out of Steve’s 9 acre flower ranch, on the western edge of Valley Center, our workshop is in Oceanside, where in person, final setups will be completed. It’s a journey to get to the ranch but in person showings are available by appointment.
